I saw my first full panorama about 4 years ago when I was learning HDR. I was impressed by how I was able to pan to the sun and then pan to the shadows with equal clarity and exposure. It was when I knew, this is what I wanted to specialize in. This was my niche.
There is a show called “What on Earth”. It’s about images taken in space where there is some anomaly in them. In one case, after a long “it could be this” or “it could be that” it came down to stitching. A stitching problem is the direct result of parallax. Even NASA has trouble with stitching.
Preparing for this workshop has forced me to reexamine my practices and procedures. There is a chance the procedures I employ and the equipment I use may go through some minor modifications by the time of the workshop.
Hopefully, I was able to get you as excited about these panoramas as myself and come to my workshop.
